At Hamilton Woods, our journey has always been fuelled by purpose, to redefine recruitment through integrity, performance, and genuine partnerships. From day one, we’ve focused on building something meaningful, a consultancy that delivers with precision and care.
Conception & Early Momentum
Founded in 2019, Hamilton Woods brought together specialists with a shared belief in doing things differently. We set out to challenge industry norms with a performance-driven, relationship-first approach, combining niche expertise with a fresh perspective.
Adaptation & Stabilisation
As the world shifted in 2020, so did we. Transitioning rapidly to remote working, we continued to grow despite uncertainty, launching new divisions, opening our East Midlands base, and moving into our Castle Donington headquarters. This period was defined by resilience and adaptability.
Expansion into New Divisions
With a solid foundation in place, we moved into our next phase, broadening our reach through strategic growth. A key milestone was the launch of our Housing & Property Services division, driven by increasing client demand and a need for sector-specific expertise. The success of this division is a testament to the dedication and leadership of Associate Director Bethan Hall, whose commitment and vision have been instrumental in its continued growth and impact.
Leadership & Strategic Alignment
The appointment of James Wood as Managing Director marked a new era. Under his leadership, integrity was firmly established as a core value — not just in how we operate internally, but in how we engage with clients and candidates. Alongside a refined strategy and renewed investment in branding, marketing, and digital presence, this values-driven approach helped elevate our market position and align our team with a shared sense of purpose.
